How I’m About Zion Hub
There’s something about the beach that always brings me back to myself.
It’s one of the places where I can breathe deeper, soften my shoulders, and remember what matters most, even when life is intense.
And lately, I’ve been feeling more and more sure of what I’m here to build.
Zion Hub.
A real physical sanctuary, co-created with community, where Awesomism families and beyond-verbal people are not just included, but genuinely understood.

What Zion Hub Is
Zion is a community hub, a sanctuary space, and a practical support network.
A place where families like ours can come as we are.
A quiet sand beach with few people standing at waters edge, fishing
Who Zion Is For
Zion is for:
Awesomism families
nonspeaking and minimally speaking people
parents who are carrying a lot, quietly
siblings who want to be understood too
young people who need connection and safety
allies who feel called to serve from the heart
What You’ll Find Inside Zion
Zion is being co-created, so it will grow with the people it’s meant to serve.
But at its core, you can expect things like:
sensory and regulation-friendly spaces
gentle meetups, not overwhelming ones
communication support, inclusive of both letterboard or telepathy-based methods
family connection spaces, where nobody gets judged
Seminars, webinars, podcasts and messages to humanity
creative expression, art, music, movement, play
learning, skill-sharing, and community workshops
food growing, nature connection, grounding activities
celebrations
rest spaces, because families need somewhere to breathe
This is not just a dream.
It’s a vision with a plan.

Why we are Building It
Because we have lived the reality behind the scenes.
The dysregulation.
The isolation.
The constant “holding it together”.
The deep love that doesn’t stop, even when the body is tired.
And I know we’re not meant to do this alone.
So many of us have been carrying too much, for too long, without the support we truly need.
Zion is our answer to that.
A space built with love, yes, but also built with practical reality in mind.
A place where support is normal, connection is normal, and communication is honoured in all the ways it shows up.
Zion is a sanctuary for connection, communication, and co-creation.
A Little Book Teaser, and Why It Matters
I’m also writing a book called:
The Adventures of Kody and Aron – Through the Eyes of the Wise… AKA Mum!
It’s not a polished highlight reel.
It’s real life.
It’s survival, humour, heartbreak, breakthroughs, and the kind of love that changes you forever.
It’s the story of what happens when life gets shaken up, and you find creative ways to keep going anyway.
More on that soon.
